Fresh Ideas Bring About New Results!

 LET ME INTRODUCE MYSELF

I have lived and worked in Escondido for 13 wonderful years.  My wife and business partner Janathan and I discovered Escondido by chance and we immediately fell in love with the weather and the natural amenities – parks, lakes, open spaces and historic Downtown

We moved here and located our business, Allan Barron, Inc., downtown at West Grand and Broadway.  We’ve built a large base of local and international clients over the years and recently expanded our office space.  We love the small town atmosphere of Downtown Escondido and the feeling of being in the country at our home.  We recently doubled pur office space as our business has grown substantially and we now have clients around the World.

Jan and I are both members of Rotary and Janathan has been an active member of the Downtown Business Association for the last four years.  We are deeply invested in Escondido, both personally and financially.

I moved to the USA in 1977 and have gone through the lengthy process to become a U.S. Citizen; I have developed a full understanding of the process involved in immigrating to this country.

I have an extensive background in Executive Management with several International high-tech Companies and will bring that management experience to the City Council. I served as the CEO of $100 million publically traded company.

I started my career as a junior engineer in Nuclear Physics and later worked for Bell Northern Research on product design.  I served as Director of Manufacturing Operations for Northern Telecom.  My corporate career reached its apex during tenure as President/CEO of numerous technology companies, including General DataComm, Telenex Corporation, Inc., Bourns Electronics, and Valor Electronics (a publicly traded company with over $120 million in revenues).

It’s this lifetime of experience and record of success that I will capitalize on to help Escondido protect its heritage and progress to an economically viable and stable City of Choice.

The incumbents have been at City Hall for a long time… they’re out of touch with today’s realities, mired in old ways and old thinking.  It’s time for a fresh start…

Please, join me in RESTORING QUALITY to Escondido’s economic, social and natural environment.
