Escondido is my Home

I am very proud to live in Escondido. It is a great community filled with beautiful open spaces and wonderful people. There is great potential to be explored and I believe that I can help. I will work to:

  • Promote Small Businesses
  • Attract New Large Business
  • Improve City Infrastructure
  • Audit City Government
  • Address Immigration Issues
  • Increase Public Safety

For the last 11 years I have called Escondido my home. I had been living in Del Mar on the coast, and when my wife and I purchased our home we decided to move our business inland. We discovered Escondido almost by chance and were surprised at the wonderful climate and how different it was from the coast. It was a joy to see the wild life and have a home with enough space to enjoy growing our organic vegetables and fruit. How could anyone not like a place where the dry cleaner is called the “Twinkle Tub Laundry”?

We located our business in the heart of downtown at West Grand and Broadway and have built a large International Client base over the last 10 years. We love the small town atmosphere in the Downtown area and the feeling of being in the country at our home.

Born in England I immigrated to Canada where I worked at Bell Northern Research as an engineer on product design. I was transferred to the USA, and after working my way through the long process of immigration and naturalization, became a US citizen in 1990. I developed a full understanding of the difficulties of moving to this country.

My career with different companies in Executive Management took me to six different states in the USA, and three times around the World, so I gained an insight into the cultural breadth of this wonderful country and how unique each area is, as well as the experience of running large diverse public and private companies .
